Wow! We both ordered the vegan roti with all the fillings and a mild chili. It was incredibly delicious! The roti was beautifully thin and soft, and the fillings were fantastic. The portion size was perfect for a complete meal. I'm so glad we discovered this place; our visit was definitely worth it! We returned for lunch a few days later, and it was just as awesome. It's wonderful to find a restaurant that consistently serves great food. If they went fully vegan, they would absolutely deserve five stars! There aren't any strictly vegan or vegetarian restaurants open in Cairns at night. There is just one vegan option available, but it was quite good. The staff were friendly. You can choose a filling from a variety of vegan options or have them all mixed together (chickpeas, lentils, and rice). We opted for the combination, and it was well-seasoned and flavorful.
Would recommend roti shack for a quick eat that's going to fill you up and be tasty. The vegan option comes with all the fillings (all vegan) wrapped in a roti (burrito style). Quite cheap and there are seats outside and inside. I did ask for medium spice but couldn't taste anything so if you like spicy maybe ask for hot.
They offer only one vegan option, which is why I’m giving it 3.5 stars, but it's actually quite delicious! It’s a flavorful roti burrito stuffed with potato, rice, and vegetables. Plus, you can select your spice level! Priced at $14, it’s a great value. This is an update from my previous review on June 16, 2024.

All the vegetarian curries are vegan, I chose one with mixed fillings (potato curry, rice, dahl, and chickpea curry) it was nice enough and filled me up, there was not a huge amount of flavour but I've found that a trend for the region. Service was very polite and fast.
This place does amazing Roti rolls that are effectively burritos. Everything is made fresh, and there are 3 different vegan curry options to pack your roti with!
The vegan roti is absolutely delicious! Priced at just $13, it is packed with flavor and quite filling. I will definitely be returning!
Come here with a cold and you'll get comforting food (lots of carbs) and a decongestant if you choose hot chilli

I absolutely loved the vegan roti! I got all 5 vegan fillings in mine. 10/10 would recommend.
It may only have one vegan option but that is all you need when it's done right
