What happened to a good quality Traditional Pub Meal????? Visited about a week ago so with my mother. The tables were sticky and getting stuck to our clothing. Customer Service is non-existent, we were told to place our orders pay online. When the food arrived, the chips were dry and some even brown on the inside. I 'm assuming the oil had not been changed in some time as the calamari was dark and tasted like stale oil. The schnitzel tasted processed and frozen after crumbing and also deep fried with this stale tasing oil which made the inside of the crumbing soggy. I missed my flight and urgently needed a place to stay for the night that wasn’t too far from the airport and didn’t break the bank. This hotel, located just 13 km away, turned out to be a delightful surprise. It was very clean and quiet, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The price was reasonable as well. I enjoyed breakfast at a lovely café just around the corner. I would definitely stay there again.
The food is absolutely delicious, and the pork bites are outstanding. We used the me&u app to place our order since the staff encouraged it, which is the only reason I'm not giving a perfect 5-star rating. The me&u app does charge a service fee for each transaction. A few of our orders were slightly incorrect, but the staff was very quick to resolve any issues.
The food served here is undoubtedly the best pub fare I have ever experienced in the area. The chef deserves high praise for consistently delivering delicious meals. We're thrilled to have found this place and have become regular customers. If you haven't been here yet, you absolutely must give it a try! Hats off to the chef and the kitchen staff!

Is it fancy here? Nah. Is it great to eat lunch or dinner or to grab a drink and play pool or even to go to the pokies or even watch your AFL team play? Absolutely!! I love the bartenders/servers as they are so friendly!! I absolutely recommend the Fruit Tingle cocktail as it’s to die for or even the steak with garlic sauce.
Service is excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately last night I was a little disappointed with my meal ordered the Moroccan Spicy Lamb, not spicy and very dry, also served with asparagus and not Beans very disappointed as it was on the special’s menu . We are regulars customers at the Royal Hotel so it was disappointing.
Great fresh food. They were short on staff, as a lot of places are at the moment, however I used the app to order the waitress offered to help if needed). I found it quick and easy to use! Meals were great and prices for seniors card holders was amazing. Would definitely go again if we were local.
We chose to meet up with friends to watch the AFL grand final here yesterday the staff were just awesome with friendly helpful service and even giving away sausages in bread for the footy day. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon we will return for a meal soon!!!
