The Royal Oak Inn

We were deeply disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. It was recommended to us by a local friend as the perfect place for my mother to treat us all to dinner in honor of my late father's birthday. Unfortunately, the service, while polite, lacked warmth and at times it seemed like the staff resented our presence. The lack of care and attention was evident, and the quality of the food did not justify the high prices. We suspect that the restaurant has been taken over by new management since our friend last visited. It was a real shame.

Very enjoyable stay. Rooms: Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Pleasant surroundings in the countryside with a very comfortable bed. Nearby activities: The surrounding area is great for many things. Coastline , the town of Chichester, walks, Goodwood Portsmouth plus day trips to Isle of White all possible. Food drinks: Food was very good with a very nice breakfast. Rooms: 4
