The Royal Sun - Réserver une table

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at The Royal Sun: excellent incomings, we had the olives with balsamic vinegar and bread, and the Camembert with rosemary infusion with toasted ciabatta, followed by the crunchy vegetarian burger with brie melted and onion jam and fried sweet potatoes. And then we were too full for the pudding! The pub itself has a lot of character and charm, and it was very nice to be there enjoying the atmosphere we loved the Latin background music that gave it a great atmosphere! The service was also excellent!The next time we go to the Blenheim Palace, we will book a table here for dinner!

What a lovely pub and a great find. Myself and a friend were enroute to a weekend event and stopped here for a quick drink. Then on the way back we stopped in the hope to grab dinner. However the kitchen had closed. But the landlord was amazing he offered us some food regardless and prepped it before going on our merry way. Scampi and chips was order of the day and it was delicious. Will definitely return for more food. Setting was great and service exceptional.

It's the first time I came back from the lockdown with my partner. It is good to see that the place meets the new measures.The atmosphere was very nice and the excellent service. I had a special need for food, despite the busy night, they fulfilled my wishes.I can strongly recommend this awesome place, it is always a pleasure to be a customer in a place like The Royal Sun.

it was either the manager or the owner, was being rude to staff, told one of the staff members off for serving me because i knew him, told me i wasn’t as important as other customers, got the others to serve the owners friends before they serve me when i’d been in there an hour already

This lovely country pub serves excellent food! We went here for an evening meal whilst visiting Oxford, and were not disappointed. We had starters, mains and deserts and all were superb. I would highly recommend this place!
