I visited this restaurant for the first time on November 25th. The staff was personal and friendly, and the meal was delicious. There was always a front of house staff member available, so there was never a moment where we had to search for something. Since this is a new restaurant, the portion sizes are a bit too large, but that was the only issue I had. The three of us ordered rice dishes, which were more than enough. Next time, we will order one large dish between three of us. The other options, such as buttered chicken and lamb rogan josh, were very good with generous portions compared to other similar restaurants. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The food at the Royal Taj is well-prepared, with a decent selection of dishes and a larger dessert menu compared to nearby Indian restaurant Aangan. However, the prices are much higher than both Aangan and Campagnola. Our banquet meal ended up costing $90 for two, which felt overpriced for the portion sizes. While the food quality was good, it did not justify the high price tag, and we left feeling disappointed.
The owner's attitude towards us when we tried to dine there the day before was also disappointing. While the Royal Taj may have good business sense, Campagnola was a better overall dining experience.

My partner and I visited the buffet last night and we were blown away by the delicious food and fantastic customer service. We enjoyed the variety of options and found everything to be well prepared and flavorful. We were so impressed that we have decided to go back again tonight. The only downside was witnessing another customer using their fingers to grab food from the salad bowl, despite tongs being provided. This behavior was disappointing and disrespectful. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food and friendly staff.

My Husband & I frequently go camping in StFaustin and we always try to make time for a stop at Le Routier off of the 117 highway for a hardy breakfast.
