no great experience. the place is in an opposite place where there is not much parking space....but we could find a place on the road. the atmosphere is okay. we sat a table on the front. my friend sat down and got hj bumm quite wet. Apparently....the Ac line is sometimes on this chair and no one has tried to check before it sits. we moved to another table, and they laughed ot off...saying Oh.yeah that happens sometimes we have the twirl rings and some side wings. the rings were great....the wings were good. but not rewarding. I aasked for a water replenishment. it tasted strange and was cloudy. I showed it to the server. she said. it was probably a must in the pitcher or something. then she...
before the kovid this place had some very delicious vegan dishes. Last time I went there, the menu had changed a lot. all these really great dishes were gone, and the one option she had at that time was not available. they made me a bit more vegan, which was appreciated, but was not ready to compare with what they had before. probably lost their vegan chef? No matter if they are in good beer, they have one of the best choices in the city. And that's enough for me if I want to drink a beer with a friend!
I had the roxanne burger and fries, with the middle and mild wings. the wings were good, but the buffalo sauce was not amazing. the roxanne burger was quite interesting with regard to a burger, but urgently needed some salt. on the other side, the riders were very reconsidered and oversaled. I also had the wasted white guy dider tattoo, it is creamy, crispy and a bit mad, I would say it is good to try to share.
Terrific experience at the Ruck. Friends I were in Troy for a memorial service, and we stopped in to have a brew watch the NCAA tournament. Stayed all afternoon, and enjoyed several great craft beers, along with tasty pub fare (especially the tots wings). Our server was nice and efficient, and the bartender was a great guy who knew great music. The iTunes juke box was a nice feature. Highly recommend.

yes parking is difficult, but this is every city. great vibes, hole in the wall art of space. the wings are awesome, and the Tofu sandwich **** is amazing. vegan cheese and everything, felt like a big tasty bite and it wasn't just a crispy vegan burger from the freezer. great service! also cheap. updated by previous review on 2021-05-26
It was a nice option to have! A little over cooked but it was crunchy and spicy. There were more options than I thought. Our waitress said they just updated the menu to add more options.
So if you venture to Troy, NY make sure you stop by The Rock for some wings. It’s a good place for a pit stop and some food when riding or just hang out for the evening with friends.
I was here once. a few vegan options. the woofers were really good. the wings were okay. the place was in a kind of sketchy lookin area and felt creepy at night.

Amazing wings. Longest shuffle board table I've ever seen! College bar but quiet on a Sunday.
