I'll give this a 5 because I think it deserves at least a 4. They're out on the front lines delivering when not many Chinese places are. It got here within an hour, food is solid, cooked perfectly, huge portions, they even threw in a free 2 liter. General Tso (Dragon and Phoenix especially, among the best I've had. Sweet with just a hint of spice. I dislike that they make you sign the receipt even when paying online (are they disinfecting the pen regularly? , but that is my only complaint. Hope to visit the restaurant someday. It's a gem hidden in plain sight, try it out next time you get a craving.
I love general Tso’s chicken, and the special combination tasted excellent. The problem that I have is that they do not put Tien Tsin peppers in their sauce. I’ve been trying to find Chinese takeout in the area that actually cooks with them, as for some reason I cannot seem to find any general Tso’s with those peppers. The fried rice was amazing, egg roll on point, asked for sauce packets and they gave me plenty extra. Girlfriend had the noodle and rice combo, and said it was the best around.
Just placed an order for delivery. My total came to about $27. So I added 3 eggs rolls which totaled to about $33.42. I opened the bag and noticed there weren’t any egg rolls. I called immediately. They swore they checked the cameras and saw that it was placed in the bag when it wasnt. I asked if they could bring them to me. They offered to credit it towards my next purchase. There won’t be a next purchase due to poor customer service.
I lived in nyc my whole life, and of course we have the best Chinese foods down there. Since moving upstate, this is the good Chinese food place upstate! I tried many places and nothing compares to this one. They make their food just how it would rest in the city. Love this place, only Chinese place I’ll recommend. I’m very picky, this the only place I’ll go.

I am changing my review of this restaurant. The service has declined, and I often receive the wrong order. I've also been served expired soda from 2018 to 2021. Overall, the quality has worsened, and unfortunately, I got sick today, so I'm done with this place.
I forgot my food, so I called them, and they said I would receive a call back about a refund, but I never did. The food is usually great—it's usually my go-to place—but this last experience was disappointing.
This is the only Chinese place in Troy we'll order from. The orange chicken is perfect! The customer service has always been fine, fast delivery, hot food and reasonable prices. We love Hao Wei!!
Good location for Chinese food. everyone at our table was enjoying everything. it has a nice feel to it. i can see why they have so many good reviews.

I got a Kung Pao chicken lunch meal. Decent food at a good price. Overall I'd say the place is good, but nothing special.
I found a long black hair in my lo mein. I will not be ordering from here again.
