My first visit to The Sandwich Spot was disappointing and will likely be my last. The restaurant itself was charming and clean, and the service was quick. The menu was interesting, similar to other local sandwich shops like Prima Deli or Lou's. However, the service quality left much to be desired. The young man at the counter greeted me with a cold stare and seemed uninterested in taking my order. I felt like an unwelcome guest and didn't feel encouraged to return. The sandwich itself was average, not terrible but not great either.
The Sandwich Spot is truly a local gem. I ordered The Gobbler (turkey, cranberry, and cream cheese). It was a healthy thanksgiving sandwich. The sandwich portion was a nice size, price was reasonable, and the gentleman at the register was so upbeat and friendly! Definitely my new sandwich spot!
Absolutely. Joe makes some medium and delicious sandwiches. Just pulled into the neighborhood. He saw how we moved things over the street and made us two sandwiches on the house. What a great reception in the Bay Area for me and my wife after 20 years in the UK. Love it!
I adore this restaurant. It's conveniently located just a few doors down from where I live. I can always grab a sandwich here, hence the name "Sandwich Spot." The staff is always friendly, and even my little dog gets a treat when I bring him along. I absolutely love it! Réservez une table maintenant
