Had the scallop, rice and maissalate. Sure. The maissalate was excellent. The rice was a little over boiled. The scallops were usually cooked well. Some were over boiled and sandy, but you know seafood. But there was a wealth of them 8. Then Riverboat had pie for Dessert. Coffee ice cream with chocolate crust. It was good. Nothing to rave around one way or another. The hostess Emily was nice and personal. The woman had Steak-Taco, which she thought was excellent. It was a little on the spicy side. Also a caramel martini she liked. The service was good.
Hosted my daughters birthday party in the cottage in the back . Everything was absolutely perfect from planning the party to the actual day of. Booking the party with Carl was great and he was super accommodating. He was able to do everything I asked for and more to make my daughters day special. I couldn’t recommend this local gem more. I know me and my guests will definitely be returning for dinner and future party’s. Thank you so much Carl and the Sayville Inn.
This is the perfect place for Happy Hour! The bartenders are very friendly and always talk to us. The drinks are good, but the food is excellent. I like to be biased because I love bar food, but you're something of the best! You always have new specials to try, but I definitely recommend the buffalo wings/shrimp, fried Calamari and crab cake.
Fall keeps the warmth of summer with a perfect Sunday to watch the game or with an afternoon lunch. The special cocktail, a Cinnamon whiskey sour was fabulous- cool and refreshing. The outside seats were generous and well worked. Service was friendly and good. A long restaurant that continues well served.
