The Sharpthorne Organic Cafe

The food was marvelous, featuring a variety of incredibly fresh sandwiches, delicious gluten-free quiche, and a selection of amazing homemade cakes and scones. We also enjoyed as much tea as we wanted, along with a delightful fizzy raspberry drink. The café was beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail at each table that matched the theme, along with some staff wearing themed outfits. We recently discovered this café, and we are so glad we did. It’s particularly special because it’s owned by Pericles, which, as their website states, is a pioneering training and work project for young adults with special learning needs and/or mental health issues. Lovely local cafe. Been customers for many years. New manager fostering local musicians to play on weekends. Highlight recommended, especially good for cyclists passing through village for a well earned stop. Kid-friendliness: Local cafe, staffed with local people. Very kind and friendly. We absolutely love visiting the Sharp-Thorne Cafe. We usually take a stroll in the beautiful countryside nearby before stopping by for one of their incredible vegan dishes.
