We visited Sunday lunchtime and the pub was very busy with diners. The food we had was mainly Good, we had some errors in service but it is attentive and the draught cider we had is quite expensive. We had a prawn starter which was nice with flavoursome cocktail sauce, salad and a piece of warm bread and butter. I had the roast beef sunday dinner which had to be sent back because there were no roast potatoes or stuffing on the plate. Then I had to ask for horseradish rather than being offered it. The roast dinner comes on a smallish oval plate and portion control is alive and well. My beef portion was small with two measley slices. It tasted okay thankfully.
