The Ship Inn Hoylake

Popped into the Ship Inn to check out their festive roast dinner menu and were made to feel very welcome by staff. The barman told us that their food is restaurant standard food l,at pub prices. We ordered a two course meal which was absolutely fabulous. I must say that the dinner is the best turkey roast dinner i have ever eaten. The staff were very friendly and their service was outstanding. The atmosphere in the pub was very relaxing and I would recommend anyone to try their food and ales.

I had a fabulous birthday Sunday dinner at The Ship last Sunday and was so delighted that I had chosen to celebrate it here. There were fourteen of us and so this could have created quite a challenge to the staff but they were marvelous, attentive to everyone's needs the whole time. The food was sensational everyone had the Sunday Roast. I had the beef again, my favouite, and gravy to die for! Thanks to all involved, I had a lovely, memorable birthday, such a happy time.

Been here a number of times for the Sunday social roast dinner! Every time we have been the service has been fantastic. We get the roast dinner platter so we have a choice of meat all really tasty the roast potatoes are the best ever an the Yorkshire puds gravy are both homemade! Always have leftovers which the staff are happy to box up to take home! Not had a bad experience yet an will continue to support this fantastic local!! Food: 5

the personal was great. very helpful. nhs discount available when they ask. screens inside and outside. shows the football. beautiful seating area.

Gorgeous pasta and my friends all ate their lunches up. Wonderful staff, great pub.
