best no nonsense indian (bengali curry in chelmsford and one of the best prices. good fresh taste and they only ask them if they want papageien once in the opposite to the others who ask about 5 times. garlauch chilli chicken, vindaloo, tandoori and the jalfrezis usually hit the square. pamper yourself and forget the average baddow road operations:
Best curry house in Chelmsford by a mile. The guys are very attentive and make sure you always have a drink and are happy. The owners are very nice and made my leaving do special! Would definitely recommend. Curry was delicious, poppadoms served fresh and crispy. Chutney delicious. Naans absolutely delicious. Will be going back when in the area!
I am deeply sad to see that the sitar seems to have closed. for almost ten years I went there either to sit with friends and to eat or take with them. was it the best Indian restaurant in which I was ever? No, but it was a more familiar and comfortable place where the service was good and the food was nice and the prices were excellent.
Excellent curry and service the food was really great, and the staff were the right amount of attentive. The place itself feels a little tired, but the Sitar has a fantastic reputation and it holds it up. One of Chelmsford's best places to get a curry! Réservez une table maintenant
the service was exceptional here and the food fit it. it was quite busy here and the service was not fancy because it would definitely go back. beautiful and close to the city center.
