I stumbled over skylark as a friend recommended her amazing cupcakes. I decided to book wendy to make my daughter and friends together birthday cakes. I let wendy have free herrage with the vagen thema of the princesses and superheroes, I was not disappointed with the end result. the cake also tasted great. Since then I visited the caffe a few times and was always greeted by the friendly staff, the choice of cake and the high quality tea. skylark is now my go to cake shop for everyone and I was not disappointed bought by any cake.

Visited the Skylark today and I cannot fault it! Got in touch in advance to book one of the best seats in the house and to check for GF options, seems nothing was too much to ask! Had a wonderful sandwich and a cake that was so good I had to get one to take home. Have a feeling we may be moving our mums group to here often now!

She made the most beautiful simple and elegant red velvet cake for my sister leaving England. It looked stunning, and she even went the extra mile of creating a big heart on the top, a nice little surprise. It was deliciously moist and I would definitely recommend.

Went in one Sunday afternoon for a drink cake! Loved it! Great selection of delicious cakes, games for the little ones, high chairs with plenty of room! Very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!!! X
