Was in the Newlands area one Saturday morning and had to make my way across to Cathcart, but was in need of a little lunch, and decided to pop in to the Slated Teapot. Nice little cafe tucked away, but sure of a great welcome, and a nice big menu where you are sure to find something simple to your taste. Cakes stacked high look out of this world, but maybe for another day as I ordered a coffee and a breakfast role. Will most certainly be back if in the area again.
I have been a loyal customer of the Slated Teapot since it first opened, and I cannot recommend it enough. Lynn always goes the extra mile for her customers, making sure everyone feels welcome and at home. The food is consistently amazing and always meets my high standards. Even as a picky eater, Lynn ensures that I am well-fed and satisfied. I am grateful that this gem is just a two-minute drive away from me. Keep up the fantastic work, Lynn!
Called in to collect lunch and coffees for three to eat in nearby Newlands park across Kilmarnock road 200 yards away. Junior play park across the road closed due to present restrictions.Servers in shop were pleasant and attentive Nespresso coffee served. Great wee cafe, opened a year ago. Popped in with my 3 and 5 year old after being at a nearby group with them. Nice surroundings, tasty food and lovely staff. Have been in 4 or 5 times since! Child friendly good choice of food for children, and some books etc to keep them occupied. Lovely coffee too. Would recommend a visit! Réservez une table maintenant
I stopped by for a coffee and bacon roll. Lynn kindly made my bacon crispy just the way I like it. I have visited this restaurant several times with my family and we always have a good amount of time to browse the menu before ordering. I highly recommend trying the slate teapot if you are in the area.
I stopped by this restaurant for the first time while my car was being repaired. The service, food, and cleanliness were all top-notch. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend this place, as the prices are very reasonable.
I can highly recommended the slated teapot, great wee place, they do great breakfasts, lunches etc, I have also ordered afternoon teas a few times, they also deliver. Lynn the owner goes out of her way to help, also lovely staff, Gary and Andy I would also like to mention
Dropped in for first time got a warm welcome and lots of support in being shown menu and time/privacy to phone partner for list of goods to order. after ordering got to decide many details such as roll type sauce, extras bagged was a great service will 100% be back!! Réservez une table maintenant
