May I ‘axe’ you a question? Are you looking for something different? Something that is guaranteed to make you smile, feel empowered, and smell faintly of wood chips? This is it! We’ve visited Smart Axe in Folsom (sweet location! several times for date nights and group activities, and it’s always delivered a great time. Everybody can ‘handle’ the fun and has some measure of success even on their first time. This time we hosted a bevel of 13 year olds for our son’s birthday and it was a huge success. I have a 20 year old son, and it's difficult to find new different things to do in the Sac area (we've done it all . So we decided on a whim to go axe throwing. We pretty much had the place to ourselves (it was July 2nd, so... . The staff was very attentive, and never got tired of our request for throwing tips. I purchased the 75 minute session, but we were pretty much done after 45 minutes. This is NOT a knock on The Smart Axe we had a blast! But it might be better for a larger group of people (who were enjoying a few cocktails . I recommend The Smart Axe for a bachelor/bachelorette party, a corporate/team building outing, or just a group of 3 6 friends. You WILL enjoy it!
It was my husbands Birthday weekend and I was looking for someplace new and exciting to take him. Smart Axe came highly recommended from a coworker so I made reservations. My husband LOVED it! He was addicted right away! As for me, I was a little intimidated and it took me a while to even reach the target, lol, but I finished strong!! We had a few drinks, shared some snacks and had such a great time. He already has plans to take our boys there on their next visit. He can't wait. Great start to his birthday weekend, Thank you!
We arrived later than expected and had an additional guest join us, but the restaurant was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to push our reservation back a few minutes while we enjoyed drinks downstairs. Our friend forgot to bring close-toed shoes, but the staff had a pair available for him to rent. We had a fantastic time, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everyone in our group was happy, though I was the only one who didn’t manage to land an axe! Réservez une table maintenant
We had so much fun. Perfect date-night activity. Made our reservation online. Gentleman at the front desk could read us that we were new when we walked in the door. Love that they offered some bottle and a few tap, but a full beer bar would make this superb! Serving hard liquor may turn dangerous. Overall great time, clean, clear instructions, 75 min window was perfect play time.
