What a delight! Found this place online and it did not disappoint. My friend and I split 2 sandwiches. One was the Carolina Gold, and it was very good and worth the fact that it was messy with all the juicy goodness. But the real home run was the Smoked Brisket sandwich. Best I have had since I used to go to Austin on business. I also got to sample the Burnt Ends and they were a real treat. Prices are a tad over normal because everything is kosher and that makes it cost higher. But so worth it all around. Do not miss this place!!

I've visited SS Smokehouse multiple times since my first review, and they continue to impress me every time. The food is outstanding, and the customer service is exceptional. The owner, Yitzy, brings such a positive vibe to the place. It’s a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Keep up the great work! The menu offers an incredible variety of dishes, especially the smoked options. You really can't go wrong by trying everything!

Fantastic restaurant! I tried their smoked brisket once, and it was incredible! While I can't indulge in all the delicious options they offer, the pastrami sandwich was excellent, and they serve the best house fries in Lakewood. Additionally, the woodwork was beautifully done by Joseph Kushner and Co.—a truly professional job! Great work, everyone! The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. Service: Dine-in.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere! Although everything was a bit on the expensive side, I would definitely order the pastrami again. It was juicy and fatty, just as it should be, with a thick, crunchy crust. The brisket was tasty but a bit dry, so I probably wouldn’t order it again given the price. The coleslaw was delicious and paired perfectly with the pastrami. We will definitely return if we’re in the area again.

This place was absolutely on point! I highly recommend trying the secret menu item, the meat lovers platter! It features a fantastic assortment of various meats, including smoked lamb riblets, sausages, bourbon baked beans, brisket, pastrami, pulled beef, and more. Everything was cooked to perfection. really good kosher bbq brisket. the service was good and the prices can appear high, the portions are plentiful. by my wife the burgers were not great. my daughter liked her chicken sandwich, burned as sharp and she said it wasn't really all that was sharp.

this may be the best kosher smokehouse in the usa and I have tried a lot. the smoked brisket is perfect. the burned ending are made with the right balance. the sandwiches are excellent made!

As a true BBQ enthusiast, I can confidently say that this place knows exactly what they’re doing. You won't even miss the pork ribs if you keep kosher. It's incredibly delicious!

overpriced. the pastrami was too salty and very dry. we ordered sweet potatoes and received French pommes.
