3 of us all had cakes, the bark meat, the fish and the special duck and cranberry. Meals were nice at home made cake and served so hot it had to cool a bit before eating what was great. service with a smile of beautiful employees. 2 stayed overnight in a stunning 'home' room. will definitely go back. well done to get a little out of the way!

fantastic rural village pub. I went for a storm around calke abbey area and had a thirst, so I called into this facility for a beautiful pint of cider. I think the renter helped me and she was very kind. I'll try this pub again and the next time I'll try to eat it.

Absolutely Fantastic... I booked late evening online arrived 1hour later to a warm welcome.. Excellent Service Warm atmosphere... Great food.. Dinner Breakfast.. I will return again when in the area... Many Thanks...
