The Star Inn - Réserver une table

The four of us attended The Star for a birthday dinner. We started well with tea and coffee, it was a cold December day and chatting while the log fire was lit near our table. The key to a good visit is friendly, helpful staff and we were not disappointed. For lunch three of us had turkey with all circumcisions, the other had turkey pie: all meals were absolutely delicious. A spicy apple crumble followed. We were all wondering how we didn't discover this gem of a pub sooner.

Today Jay, Jackie and the team went above and beyond and made a young ladies 11th birthday so very special. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon tea. We all had a fabulous time. The fact that you did it for free was an amazing gesture. You are such lovely people. Thank you so much.

We visited this pub for a very late lunch yesterday and the staff were so lovely to keep the kitchen open for us. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was great! I can’t recommend this pub enough. Can’t wait to go back Very reasonably priced too!!

first visit in 7 months after a moderate absenteeism. excellent service, super good and ale. as if I had never been gone.

a beautiful traditional village pub good size parking have a pint of harvey’s and observe them how to buy the world.
