we were for a night and it was absolutely wonderful. dinner was better than any 5 stars meal I had in london and the workers were very funny, charming profi. the rooms were incredibly comfortable (bring their own kiss) and the breakfast, the next morning, was perfect. I can't stress enough how much fun we all had. many thanks to all there. we come back regularly for the foreseeable future.

zimmerler pub. very comfortable bed. had no idea where to park the car at the arrival. did we miss a message? could have a hand with luggage. good food. evening personal very hospitable. if they have the fish-sharing plate, they do not order net before they see it. it was delicious and huge. almost all local shops we only open up to weeks okt mar. a little disappointing.

my wife and I did this after a long day walking on the south downs way. the staff was welcoming, eating was great, and the ales were excellent delicious. we had also been happy to try the banoffee pie for dessert, which we are happy to try now that we are home from our vacation. a great night.

Good selection of beers/ales/lagers on tap. Friendly staff. Our food was really good and the menu has a surprisingly large selection of vegetarian options (nudged by the vegetarian daughter of the owner, we were told).

we were a party with 7 and 3 dogs today. we were so welcome. the service and eating were brilliant. the menu was diverse and interesting and we all had great meals. we will definitely come back!
