The Swamp Chiptruck

This place should be condemned by the health department. Very dirty and old looking kitchen. We stood and watched the two girls prepare our food. First problem is they handle cash and then jump in to help other cook make food without washing their hands. The one girl ran her hands through her hair 6 times in the time we were there. The other stuck her finger in the gravy and licked it off; taste test or checking temperature. Again never washed her hands. Both girls were sweaty and wiping their face with their arm. I didn't complain as there were people in line and I don't like to make a public display. Service not friendly at all. We tossed the food out. Never again!

We have visited this restaurant several times and have enjoyed the burgers and fries, especially the poutine. We heard good things about the fish and chips from someone in line, so we decided to give it a try today. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The fish was not crispy, and the inside was mushy. Even adding malt vinegar couldn't make it better. I only took a few bites before deciding to throw it out. We brought the rest home, but if I had eaten it at the restaurant, I would have returned it. I will definitely be back for other menu items, but I won't be ordering the fish and chips again.

Once know as the "Swamp" garage to locals, it was converted to a fish N chip/hamburger stop. Quaint with character with both sit in and out venue it is okay for all seasons. Biggest problem is it's intermittent hours of operation. I have gone there many times only to find it closed ...very maddening.

I waited for more than 5 minutes, but neither of the staff members acknowledged me. I eventually left and will not be returning. All they needed to do was say they would be with me shortly. I was towing a three-horse trailer and couldn't wait around for them to serve me. Réservez une table maintenant

I had a wonderful experience at The Swamp. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Plus, they now offer pizza on the menu! I will definitely be returning in the future.

If you're looking for delicious, look no further. This little pit-stop has the best food that a chip truck has to offer. Don't miss it, you'll regret not eating here.

It's worth the drive to Orange Corners for these French fries! Large portions, friendly staff, and lots of places to park or sit in the shade.

Variety is the name of the game here. Plain is not on their chip truck fare . Lots of great combos on your fires , hamburgers and hotdogs. Réservez une table maintenant

Great place to stop in for French Fries and Pizza- large variety of French Fries - and best ones are the "Swamp Fries" a must try

Great fish and chips and they added great pizza as well. You won't beat the portions they give you and the price is reasonable.
