I have been living in Nantwich for four years and have been to this pub with my wife a few times for drinks. We always found it to be a charming, clean, and cozy pub with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. However, today was the first time we tried the food there and we were very disappointed. My wife, her parents, and I decided to have a Sunday roast at the Swan. We were all looking forward to it. Three of us ordered the roast chicken dinner, while my father-in-law opted for the roast beef dinner. This was the second time my wife and I have stayed here for a weekend away and although the first was five years ago, it's good to see The Swan Inn is still the same as we remember. Warmly greeted on arrival, easy check in, spacious and comfortable room, with a walk in shower in the bathroom. The rooms are at the back of the pub so was able to park the car directly outside the door which is where it stayed until we came home. It was nice to simply relax and enjoy the pub with it's friendly atmosphere for a drink and a meal on both evenings. Shame the weather wasn't kind as there is a good sized beer garden too. This pub is in the small, pretty village of Wybunbury next to the leaning church. My mum and I went on August Bank Holiday Monday lunch time. The pub itself is oldie worldie and very welcoming. The staff are lovely and very attentive. No ordering at the bar, all table service including drinks. Mum and I both ordered Chicken Kiev which came with bubble and squeak, slim green beans and peas plus a sauce. It was delicious . My husband and I went to The Swan for dinner and had a lovely meal. The pub is cosy and welcoming and the staff were really friendly. We had the homemade nachos to start and they were delicious with plenty of toppings. I had the cheese and onion pie which was so tasty, plenty of vege on the side with chips and a rich cheese sauce. My husband had sweet and sour chicken which he thoroughly enjoyed. The food was piping hot and plenty of it. So much so that we were too full for dessert despite the choices being very tempting. We will have one next time as we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff for such a lovely evening.

After a fabulous afternoon at The Fig Pie Wakes with friends we finished off with a great meal at The Swan. Between us we had halloumi fries and home made nachos, both were delicious and very generous portions. We all had Chicken Kyiv with a creamy sauce, served with bubble and squeak and green beans, absolutely fabulous, succulent chicken and beautifully cooked accompaniments. The service is always great, we had a lovely chat with Emma who had rolled her first fig pie that afternoon. We are so lucky to have The Swan as our local, it never disappoints.
I had a really good meal. Service was good, as was the food, which was reasonably priced. The surroundings are pleasant it's a small quirky pub, with many nooks and corners crammed with all sorts of interesting things (including books . I often feel awkward eating solo, but was relaxed here and enjoyed the experience (cf the previous evening in a more expensive hotel! .
This is a lovely pub that always seems to hit the spot for us. It’s like an old favourite. We live in central Nantwich but often visit this pub. Easy parking, friendly staff, lovely grub, well kept ale. What’s not to like. We called in without a booking today and we were accommodated with a smile. Delicious beef roast
I went to the restaurant for Sunday lunch only to find out that all of the Sunday roast options were sold out. It was very disappointing because I didn't want to order anything else from the menu that I could have had at any other time.

Lovely atmosphere good food in a pretty little village highly recommended for a quick snack, a big meal or just a glass of wine or coffee in pleasant surroundings
We had lunch at The Swan. The service was good, but the food was only average. This once lively and popular pub has unfortunately declined in quality.
