We used to come here quite regularly it got taken over by new management approximately 12 ish months ago and we found the food was no where near as good as it used to be, to be honest it was pretty bad so stopped going . What a super little café/tearoom/coffee shop set amongst some excellent craft shops.. we just had time for tea and one of their delicious scones this time ..but we will be back..! the staff were super friendly nothing was too much trouble and we finished our afternoon of with a look round the different craft shops.. highly recommend this little gem.. A lovely little place to visit. The cafe was small but outside there is a nice seating area. Inside in the old stable blocks are more tables and chairs. I turned up with a walking group of 12, we had given prior notice. Food orders were quick and good portions. I will definitely return. The restaurant experience was somewhat underwhelming. It didn't live up to its previous standards. We dined in for brunch and found the service to be lacking, with somewhat mediocre food.
