The waitstaff were very friendly and professional, and the oysters were incredibly fresh. However, the seafood spaghetti was quite salty, and one of the clams was closed. The meat plate on the hot stone was good, but leaving the cooked meat on it for too long would make the steak tough and difficult to eat, which could be a concern for customers who aren't fully attentive. The recommended dessert was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, featuring a lovely combination of fresh fruit and ice in a caramelized bowl that was quite impressive. Lovely staff. We ate the seafood platter for 2 and enjoyed the cold platter but the warm platter came out with battered seafood and chips, not super impressed as the platter was $150 so we expected top of the range food. I told them it was our anniversary as they asked when I booked and we appreciated the effort but they decorated the table with pink and purple ribbon, quite tacky. If you're wanting fine dining, which the prices suggest, I wouldn't recommend it. The prices don't match the atmosphere. In saying that, a lunch there might have been more appropriate.
Loved this place. My partner and I were treated like movie stars. There were no tables available when we got there so they let us sit out on the balcony with a bottle of wine and a dozen oysters. We then got called into an available table which was already laden with our first dish of our banquet and another bottle of our chosen wine. Everything was amazing
On Saturday evening, we celebrated our anniversary at the restaurant. We ordered several seafood dishes and were not disappointed. The meal was served in three courses, starting with a seafood chowder soup, followed by a cold plate, and then a hot plate. Everything was incredibly fresh, the presentation was impressive, and the service was excellent.

Seafood Platter Lunch. We enjoyed the seafood platter lunch at this restaurant last week. The entire platter was of superior quality (absolutely amazing), the staff were friendly and polite. The bonus was the stunning view from our table. All in all it was an excellent dining experience, we will be back the next time we are in QLD.
Food was delish service was excellent so very friendly. We went for lunch with a red balloon voucher for the seafood platter for two and with a 3 month old baby and not once felt unwanted, like some places make you feel with vouchers (or babies). Would definitely recommend for a beautiful lunch with lovely views.
Given the price we paid for the seafood platter, I expected much more than the bland offerings we received. We live in a community known for its seafood, so I was disappointed. The seafood was tasteless, except for the chowder, which I enjoyed quite a bit.
Fantastic place for food. We eat here every time we come to Maleny. Seafood is great and service fantastic. Meals came out in reasonable time and a good time was had by all including the kids especially as they can draw on the paper table cloth.

Overfamiliar waiters with disrespectful attitudes. Bland boring overpriced food. Such a disappointment to return after 17 years and discover that it has deteriorated so badly.
