The Thornton Hunt Inn

Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with very friendly customer service. Our group of seven enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes including home-cooked meals, seafood, meats, and vegetarian options. The staff accommodated one of our party's dietary restrictions without any issues. The beer and wine selection was excellent. Lastly, the service provided at our table by the waitress was top-notch. Overall, we had a fantastic evening and highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a great meal at this restaurant. I ordered the fishcakes, which were delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely, with a cozy pub feel and reasonable prices. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and their dog was well-behaved and added to the charming ambiance. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sadly because of Covid 19 an expected busy pub ended up being exceedingly quiet for our 49th wedding anniversary, the food was excellent but the atmosphere demure. In normal times I would thoroughly recommended it, the question is when will times be normal again. Bring back normality.

The staff was incredibly accommodating with my sons, one of whom was getting married at the church across the road. We have frequented this pub before and we wish the new owners great success in their new venture. We are excited to come back for dinner and drinks soon.
