The Three Horseshoes

We were recommended to visit this restaurant by a friend while we were on holiday in the area. We were able to secure a last-minute table for two. We parked on the main road and walked down the side road toward the pub, which was adorned with beautiful flowers. We enjoyed a pint and were seated at our table promptly. The staff were very friendly and the menu offered a variety of options. I am writing this review to commend the pub and its staff, and I also highly recommend it to anyone reading this! We are looking forward to returning here on holiday, and revisiting the Three Horse Shoes will be on our agenda. Thank you to all the staff and the owner of this pub for doing a fantastic job.

Sunday lunch with visiting family. The food wasn’t as quite good as I remember from last year and our table of 3 seemed to be served exactly the same quantity of vegetables as an adjoining table of 2. Only one serving spoon for the vegetables really wasn’t sufficient. The service was ok but lacking in any friendliness or warmth. None of the waitresses even managed a smile at any point during our visit. We have dined twice in the past month and I’m not sure I will be rushing back.

What an unexpected treat! We phoned ahead and they fitted us in an hour later but we were not expecting such an exceptional Sunday Lunch! It was honestly the best we've eaten in a long time and we immediately booked to return in a few weeks time with friends. The roast lamb was melt in the mouth, the vegetarian option was so tasty and the vegetables and gravy were just delicious. Portions were plentiful and all piping hot, nothing to say other than fantastic!

Despite its unassuming exterior, the quality of the food at this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We decided to visit based on a recommendation from fellow campers and we are glad we did – we would definitely recommend it to others. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality of the food makes it worth the price. Réservez une table maintenant

The Sunday lunch at this restaurant was excellent. The kids enjoyed being outdoors in the beach hut, even in the rain. The service was fantastic, and the Yorkshire puddings and mashed potatoes were really good. The selection of vegetables was excellent as well.

This is a great place to eat with top quality dishes and friendly and efficient staff. The ale on tap is very well kept and Steve is a knowledgeable cellar man and great behind the bar. We will go again if we are passing or staying near by.

Quality of the food is superb. I don't think you'll get better anywhere in Cardiff. Always consistently good.
