Nelson, his wife and his children serve as if you are guests in their house when it comes to Travelers Rest events! They went beyond and beyond to make my sisters January 2022 baby shower an absolute pleasure for all! Professional and first-class friendly staff, magnificent renovations throughout the building, the charm of the crisp fireplace, NOT A DETAIL WAS MISSED! (and we have demanded a lot! The food in our brunch was delicious and the guests shaved over the beautiful custom cake, which was as delightful inside as outside! We had our baptism reception for my son at Travelers Rest and it was a huge success. In the weeks and days leading up to the event the owner met with us personally and we went over the menu and other requests. Everything was taken care of with understanding and professionalism. When the day came the staff performed admirably and the food was too notch. The beautiful gardens outside provided a place for kids and adults to stretch their legs and a backdrop for amazing photographs. We were also provided a copy of the Toast via security cameras after failing to record it ourselves. They went above and beyond at the Travelers Rest and will be back again for future events.
I had a wonderful experience at my daughter's bridal shower, thanks to the beautiful event space, delicious food, and attentive, friendly staff. Guests couldn’t stop complimenting how lovely both the indoor and outdoor areas were. The food was plentiful and delightful, ranging from the appetizers to the party cake. Nelson was incredibly helpful during the planning process, always available to answer my many questions. We're fortunate to have such a beautiful venue in this part of Westchester.
Nelson and his team are simply outstanding. They go above and beyond to bring your vision to life for a fantastic event. The food is delicious, and the venue is stunning and impeccably clean. We hosted my bridal shower at this restaurant, and they prepared an amazing brunch for us. Nelson and his team were incredibly courteous and kind! Everyone was impressed with the venue and enjoyed the delicious food and attentive staff. We will definitely plan future events at Travelers Rest!
We held our Basketball end of season dinner at Travelers Rest and from start to finish the experience was top notch. The room was spacious and the food and the service were excellent. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking to host a private event.
