The Tree Box Hill - Réservation de table

This is a great pub, it's changed hands and names over the past fifty years. I remember when it was called The Hand in Hand and it was a traditional old style pub with great food. It's changed ownership and style over the years, when it became The Tree, a gastro style pub, but ironically the food wasn't as good when it was a traditional style pub. Now it's changed ownership and is managed by the amiable Kyle with great drinks, coffees and snacks. Alas. It's glory days was when it was The Hand in Hand, but it's still a good pub to visit after a long walk around Box Hill. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice pub, friendly staff. They let us sample a cider before purchasing. love this pub! we've been going to the tree for a few years. the personal is beautiful, the eating is great! service is excellent! love the fact that there is a sling frame with a slide in the garden that the children are busy. a wonderful walk around box hill and stop to lunch @thetree! it is cozy, dog-friendly and the toilets are always clean.

Lovely pub inside, sofas, fireplace, etc, plus a bar pool area. Plenty of parking. Surprisingly, it was deserted on a sunny day as was the spacious garden. beautiful afternoon cream tea in the tree yesterday. so cozy and welcoming. I would recommend a stop here if their headline to box hill or in the opposite
