As someone with celiac disease, it has been very difficult for me to find places to eat safely. However, this was my first time dining here and it was fantastic! The staff was incredibly understanding of my dietary restrictions. They ensured that all the utensils were washed properly to avoid cross-contamination. I even had a beautiful, large jug of gluten-free gravy made just for me, and they took the time to explain every ingredient in the dishes. They also offered me an amazing gluten-free dessert and ice cream, which I was thrilled to enjoy! I highly recommend this friendly and welcoming restaurant to everyone, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a wonderful experience...
Only been here once before but it was like it was yesterday, the lady remembered us and my wobble. When you consider the amount of people who pass through their door on a daily basis she has a great memory. Fabulous place, fabulous food, plenty of choice at reasonable prices and excellent location. You really need to Book in advance for the Sunday Carvery to save disappointment, there was a choice of four meats and plenty of different vegetables. Nothing seems too much trouble, we will be back soon.
The staff was very friendly. We wanted a table for eight, and although they were extremely busy, they worked hard to accommodate us. The food was excellent—definitely the best carvery I've had in a long time. I highly recommend this place, and I will certainly return if I'm ever in Dawlish.
We are so glad we made a reservation for Sunday afternoon! The food and atmosphere were fantastic. The quality of the carvery was excellent, and the warm welcome from the chef was a lovely touch. there is nothing ugly about the tasty eating on Sunday carvery wonderfully cooked to perfection and everything they can eat. staff fantastic and the owner barrow fun of laughing from the input to go. what a great place to be there for 6 years and go back tomorrow. brilliant.
Just had a great meal here to finish off a great holiday, food was excellent and the waitress was really friendly and excellent at her job (a true asset to any business). We will be back next year, just sad we have been coming to dawlish for 5 years and only just found you!
