I was seated at what seemed to be the worst table in the restaurant, and when I inquired about moving to a different one, I was told no due to a wedding taking place upstairs. We weren't offered any alternatives, and the restaurant was quite empty at 5 PM when we left. The meal felt rushed, as our main course arrived just minutes after the appetizer was cleared. It’s surprising that at such high prices, you have to ask for a bread basket; other places, like Ponte, offer bread without having to request it. If you're coming to St. Pete this is a must stop for cocktails and dining. Two story restaurant with plenty of private rooms for multiple party sizes, intimate corner booths, open tables, or cozy seats at the bar, they have you covered. Don't see acocktail on the menu you like? No worries, the bartenders are true craftsmen and can conjure up whatever you want with the bestliquors and freshest ingredients. I ordered the venison tartar and Bison filet which I both highly recommend. Great flavorsand nice portions. To start, we ordered the veal meatballs, which were absolutely delicious. They were seasoned perfectly and cooked thoroughly without losing moisture. The sauce was excellent, and I only wish we had some bread to soak it up! For our main courses, we opted for the bison filet and the Chilean sea bass. The bison was cooked to medium well, yet it was surprisingly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I had expected bison to be tough, but I was pleasantly surprised by its softness and deliciousness. The Chilean sea bass was equally impressive—perfectly cooked, moist, and incredibly fresh-tasting.
This was my first time at the Urban Stillhouse after my friends raved about it. We had a party of 6 and the restaurant at 2:30 on Sunday was empty yet we had to sit at the bar all in a row versus letting us set at a high top table near the bar. It was so hard to talk to friends at the bar. Additionally, there were 3 bartenders and 3 hostesses which seemed like overkill. The gift shop and the upstairs are were closed so we missed out seeing the rest of the restaurant. Needless to say, it was quite disappointing.

If you enjoy exploring new flavors, consider yourself a foodie, and appreciate complex tastes in your meals, this place is a must-visit. We shared some fantastic appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and every single one was delightful. We also sampled several signature cocktails, each crafted beautifully with a perfect balance of flavors. I highly recommend this restaurant!
