I really love this place. I really admire the class and poise the owner of the business displayed when she was in the spotlight recently. Sometimes we run into issues that are outside of our control, but what we can control is our response and how we handle them. I really hope that this business can recover from its difficulties and continue to be successful.

This venue is nationally known for ripping off artists and bands! There is about 100 bands currently owed from velvet. This place is a disgrace and the owner has been called out everywhere. Beware!!! Do not give them your business!

The Velvet Note is an intimate jazz club with incredible acoustics. It’s the perfect place for a night out with live music and a cozy atmosphere. A hidden gem for music lovers.

Don’t perform here if you’re a musician. And don’t spend your money here. They write bad checks that bounce. Multiple musicians getting stiffed and waiting years to get paid. Réservez une table maintenant

I can no longer endorse this venue, as too many fellow musicians have gone unpaid after performing here. It is unfortunate, but I must support my fellow musicians.

A month ago paid $40 each, my wife and I, plus meals, to hear jazz, but it seemed like a non-rehearsed, unstructured, disorganized, and messy get-together session.

The owner doesn’t the pay musicians, they provide bounced checks. Don’t support this venue if you respect performers.
