Die Location hoch über Montreux und dem Genfersee ist natürlich toll und die Plätze auf der Sonnenterrasse haben fast alle einen super Blick. Das Restaurant gehört zum Relais & Chateau hotel Victoria (siehe auch meine entsprechende Bewertung). Der Service ist solala, nicht alle Ober sprechen deutsch, man hat nicht einen festen Ober sondern wird unterschiedlich bedient (wenigstens bei mir). Ein Amuse Geul gibt es nicht, nur etwas Trockenbrot. Auch wenn in der Schweiz die Preise natürlich höher liegen, so kam mir sie hier doch deutlich zu hoch für das gebotene vor. I would like to sing nothing but praises for the hotel. It offers one of the best views of Lake Geneva. The beautifully preserved historic interior is stunning. The garden, bar, restaurant, and pool all seem like something out of a novel. The rooms are comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Pillows, linens, mattresses, water pressure, etc., are all perfect. The location is away from the noise of Montreux, yet it provides easy access to any part of the Riviera. Ein Juwel am Genfer See, die erste Reise war bereits in den 90 er Jahren, unglaublich und unvergesslich. Patron Toni Mittermair mit Familie, der perfekte Gastgeber, ein Hotel voll Antiquitäten, Nostalgie und großem Auftritt. It's very rare that a destination exceeds the expectations set by the photos, but Victoria Glion really does. The hotel has an old world charm that has largely gone from grand hotels, and cannot be created by the new or refurbished hotel chains owned by private equity groups. The setting is entirely magical, with breathtaking views out over Lake Leman and the mountains beyond. It is 3 minutes walk from the mountain train that can either take you to Montreux or up into the Alps and the summit of Rocher de Naye. The restaurant is expensive, and not totally ideal to children, but given the views and the surroundings, worth the price and our children still loved it. I would advise to visit while... Zu Zweit zum Nachtessen während unserem Weekend-Aufenthalt im Hotel. Der Speisesaal ist sehr elegant und gemütlich zugleich, und die Tische haben einen großzügigem Abstand zu einander, welche eine private Unterhaltungen geradezu fördern. Die Speisekarte hat diverse Klassiker der europäischen Küche. Wir wählten frische Gänseleber und das Rindsfilet vom Wagen: Alles war ausgezeichnet, frisch und von bester Qualität. Wie der sehr kompetente, freundliche und sprachgewandte Ober Kellner unser Rindsfilet vom Wagen genau nach unseren Wuneschen (medium um medium rare) auf den Teller zauberte ist uns auch heute noch ein Rätsel. A little paradise on the mountainside with a sublime view of Lake Geneva. High quality traditional hotels, a very well-kept table with a very considerate team. A perfect place to enjoy the best view while radiating easily towards the mountains and all along the riviera. A very nice address. Rooms: The rooms on the lake side have a sublime view. Nearby activities: Don't miss Charlie Chaplin's world and his studio. A little marvel. Walkability: The hotel is close to a funicular and the rack railway. With the riviera pass given by the hotel you can take all transport for free on the perimeter and it's very easy.
Overlooking the lake, historic hotel , great food. Enjoyed every minute there , went to the Xmas market and other restaurants in the area. It was a bit chilly at the breakfast area- old draughty windows. Some blankets for the guests would be highly appreciated Service: 5
A spectacular hotel with delicious food. Very spacious rooms which stunning view of the alps and the lake. Will definitely visit again. The staff was super hospitable and the owners were always around to keep an eye. Old world charm. Service: 5 Réservez une table maintenant
