Our visit to this restaurant was the highlight of our day trip in the area. It was a delightful surprise! The cozy and charming atmosphere made us feel like we were in a lovely old-fashioned living room. The bottomless teapot and homemade treats, especially the caramel squares, were the best I've ever had. The owners were fun and friendly, making us feel like we were chatting with old friends. Highly recommended, and we look forward to trying their food next time based on the great reviews.
The afternoon tea at this restaurant is truly delightful – featuring a wide variety of delicious food and attentive service. It is a great value for the price, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was the best afternoon tea experience we have ever had, and definitely worth the drive. Please note that they are only open on Fridays and Saturdays, but they are willing to open early for special occasions.
This village has so fascinating name Moneymore near Magherafeld that we decided to stop for having tea break. Place was something else we though as located in so small village (we have driven through hundreds of them during our journey). Decided that our next year's plan must include route via this place perhaps we'll get more money then? This time we just spent it, not too much.
This restaurant is top-notch in every aspect! It is a charming hidden gem with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere created by the owners. The food is of high quality and is served with care and freshness. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with three generations of my family today in such a special and blessed setting. We found the place by chance on a Friday afternoon. The soup and the pizza were very tasty and excellent. Irene and Trevor were attentive without being intrusive. The bottomless tea pot was a bonus. There is also adequate free parking round the back.
A wonderful experience...charming atmosphere, the lovely Trevor and Irene who are superb and attentive hosts, scrumptious food and drinks. Thank you for making our visit so special, will be back when next visiting N.Ireland!
This is a wonderful place off the beaten path. We stopped in for lunch while passing thru town. The food was delicious and home made. The service was wonderful. It is definitely worth a stop.
This is a hidden gem. Such a relaxed vibe for us to visit with young children. The owners are so lovely and the hone made food is gorgeous. Couldn't recommend enough! Réservez une table maintenant
The owners make everyone welcome and take time to give everyone a warm welcome. A good selection of bakes and on a cold day it is nice and warm inside.
