The Walnut Tree Inn

After a dog walk with my best mate is I decided to ring a few pubs as I fancied a roast dinner. I booked a table at the walnut tree. I decided to go for a beef, dinner and a starter. I was greeted by Jo , the landlady. Really helpful and a good sense of humour. Excellent service. Both dishes presented and served hot. Lovely atmosphere. I even cut a sausage up from my mate. I can wholeheartedly recommend this little pub. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat there again. Thank you Parking: Lots of parking space. Excellent access to the pub. Absolutely fantastic food. I had the pie of the day which was Chicken, Camembert and cranberry. Everything from the pastry to the filling was just right. For dessert I had the chocolate orange ice cream which was amazing. The staff are also polite and friendly. In total it is a fantastic place with great food which I wholeheartedly recommend. Arrived admittedly without a reservation (for one) very frosty response. Was told there would be a long wait for food. Understandable, but the tone was very much we don 't do walk ins as in a previous review. Would be worth training staff to handle these situations more professionally, won 't be back for sure. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

what a hidden gem! warm and intimate environment and one of the best pub roasts I have tasted. my friend ate lasagne, that was delicious and made home. service was friendly and relaxed. reasonable prices and very welcoming. Réservez une table maintenant

absolutely fantastic service. we brought an American friend here on a Thursday night, had not realized that they were super close to the conclusion. they kept it open to us! so nice staff. many thanks. would be recommending

the building here dates from the 1500s and is located in a small village. a small interesting menu and beautiful employees made our visit a pleasure. I liked the smoked makrele especially.

Third time we’ve eaten here as a family,, something for everyone on the menu, food was excellent and enjoyed by all, we will be back soon.
