We ordered two teas. They came to our little table in the reception area with no teaspoons or sugar just a little pot of milk. So expensive!! £55 for two courses 3 drinks. Needed to ask for the music to be put on to create some kind of atmosphere. We were the only diners. Our pork loin was served very pink. Which is permissible now but one of our diners had to leave it as she felt uncomfortable eating it or ruining the groups experience by sending it back to be cooked more. We were there an hour before we ate anything.
We were celebrating my husband's 59th birthday and our 21st wedding anniversary. I am so glad I chose the Wharfhouse, which I had been meaning to try for some time, as my husband was bowled over. He thought it was the best steak he had ever eaten and one of the very best meals ever. He is so hard to please when dining out that I was thrilled and we will definitely return.

The food was delicious, but the portions were disappointingly small. The atmosphere felt more like a cafe than a cozy restaurant. It was surprising to see only a few people there on a Saturday night, but it's understandable given the high prices for such small portion sizes.
Food was very good but portions very small was more like sitting in a cafe than a cosy restaurant only 4 people in total on a Saturday night not supricing with the pricing for the portion sizes
We had a quiet dining experience at the restaurant, lacking atmosphere, but the food and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend it and plan to return in the future.
