The pub is cosy and warm, the staff are so friendly and inviting, even offered to make cocktails not on the menu. Dog friendly which was perfect for us with our pup, they had their own friendly poppy walking around which was so cute (also offered multiple times to move her incase it was annoying, if you are not a dog person, but I was VERY happy for her to stay). The food was perfect, I had the olives for starter and chicken ceaser for main, was very impressed with both and would definitely recommend. My partner had the tempura prawns which he said were ‘to die for’ and the chicken burger for main, it was HUGE and delicious. 4 adults in our group and even with the mix of dietary requirements vegan , vegetarian , nut allergy we all managed to choose starters and main courses with no problems , I had tempura king prawns which were delicious followed by a creamy mushroom tagliatelle also lovely, final option was a malteaser cheesecake which was way too moreish! Service was friendly and efficient, and we were warm and private in our group. We paid around £50 to £60 each which included a bottle of wine between us. I thoroughly recommend you give it a try if you're in the area.
