I have been going to the Whitchaff for as long as I can remember; whether it's for dates, family meals, or catching up with friends. The food is consistently amazing, making it tough to decide what to order each time. Some of our favorites include the steak and Stilton pie, cajun chicken ciabatta, and the cheesy garlic bread. The burgers are huge and the desserts are delicious. The portion sizes are just right, and the prices are reasonable. Just got back from having a meal at the Whitchaff Inn. It was my birthday but I’d taken my mum for lunch as her birthday gift. I have to say I am utterly disappointed. Mums burger was raw so we sent it back to the kitchen, sadly the burger then went rubbery. Mum took it home for the dogs. I ordered the Chicken Katsu wrap which I’d had a couple of times before but this time it fell short of the mark as it was only half filled. We complained. A very popular local pub with an extensive menu. We were there on a lovely sunny day and sat in the garden. There was so much choice we struggled to pick but were not disappointed. Some unusual dishes and good sized portions. Service was prompt despite being busy, and friendly. Dogs are not welcome indoors. Parking: It's easy to miss the entrance to the carpark but there's also lots of on-street parking. Price per person: £20–30

Booked a table for 2 for a friend’s birthday. We had a lovely cosy corner, service was top class, efficient but not rushed. Food was 10/10 with good vegetarian options, we had a fabulous pudding too which was huge and we shared. Parking onsite is free, tables are not too close together and there is a lovely outdoor seating area too. Clean loos too. Will be back again and again! Nice place with good food, service was very good, only issue was we pre-booked meals because there was 23 of us and I was disappointed my sweet ordered wasn't available, apart from that all good. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Steak, Roast

yum yum! love this place! ideal for family dinner, romantic meals and business dinners. I'm coming at least once a month for 5 years and never had a bad meal. loading the veggie choice and special. bew the waitress is an absolute star-go, there it is brittle!
