The White Elephant

I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend today, we were very hungry and were just browsing through Google to find a restaurant. It is definitely the best Thai restaurant in British Columbia! My boyfriend ordered the curry rice, which was delicious and he even had two more extra servings of rice. I finished the whole plate of pad Thai by myself as well. The food is amazing and the service is good too. The waiter also gave us recommendations on places to visit in the town. He was very nice. I highly recommend people to come here and try the food.

Excellent, fast service for dinner. Very welcoming. Pad Thai was delicious with very tender chicken (beef or veggie available) and super fresh crunchy bean sprouts. Very large portions. My partner had chicken with rice and broccoli in a lovely oyster sauce. Again a large portion. Too full for dessert but sure would love to go back just for drinks and dessert one afternoon. We highly recommend this delightful small cozy, clean restaurant.

Really delicious menu items. Rare beef soup, and coconut soup are my faves. Forgot to take pictures of the dishes but we ate like Kings. Pork spring rolls, coconut prawns, satay chicken (amazing), fried rice, and soup. Small, cozy atmosphere. Make reservations. It's always busy . Excellent management and the main chef is a gem. She's really a special lady, her and her family who own this. I eat here regularly.

My parents live in Qualicum and they usually take us here when we visit. A few years ago we arranged a surprise 80th birthday party for my Dad. Roland accommodated the 30-40 of us and the event went off without a hitch. Besides the fantastic, authentic Thai food, the atmosphere is great too, small and quaint. I look forward to the next time we are in Parksville to stop by and have another great meal. Réservez une table maintenant

food is nothing special. The Pad Thai I can make at home is just as good. The part that is upsetting was we took the rest home, and we just wanted a bit more of the Thai Chili sauce. They give you a dribble in a plastic take-out container on your plate, it cost 5 cents, then they wanted to charge extra for it. Unfortunately not much choice locally in Parksville.

My friend and I had a fantastic dinner here last night. I ordered the Lemongrass Chicken dinner, while my friend had the Green Curry with chicken. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! The service was also extremely friendly. We highly suggest this restaurant for anyone looking for a wonderful Thai food experience!

I ordered chicken noodles with peanut sauce and red curry. Both dishes were delicious. The red curry could have used a little more sweetness, which was easily fixed with some extra pineapples that did the trick. The deep-fried banana dessert was also very enjoyable.

A tourist here. Glad to find this place for a late lunch. Loved the fresh salad rolls and the dishes were fabulous. Only change I would suggest... ginger dressing on the salad. Very friendly staff. Wish we had this back in NC! Réservez une table maintenant

Enjoyed dinner here yesterday. Chicken Satay was delicious (little cucumber salad on the side was awesome). Tom Yum soup was good as was the chicken Panang Curry. Pad Thai was spot on. Service was friendly!

The portion of Pad Thai was perfect to split between me and my little wife. Light on the flavorful sauce, so you could still taste the vegetables. Perfect.
