I stayed at the White Swan. I have to say the staff were excellent, especially Tracey who cooked the breakfasts. The rooms upstairs above the pub were extremely Cold and in fact one night to get warm I sat in the smoking area,where there were heaters. I like my bathroom and bedroom to be warm. May I suggest the heating is turned on particularly for those person staying. Secondly,no food was available on Monday and Tuesday nights , again something I didn't like,however, there are other Pubs locally where food/ meals can be purchased. If I had known food was not available MONDAY/Tuesday nights I would have booked elsewhere.
we were for a weekend close, so we came here only for some food and drinks. eating was absolutely beautiful, large portions, definitiw the best jäger huh I ever had. the number of tables that sit outside and also in the rain they are protected, and when it is cold, they have outside heating that is perfect. the personal is wonderful and friendly. we had two drinks, two nets and one starter for only £30, which is very reasonable. highly recommended
