we visited the windel recently ende february. there was a lot on the menu that was not available due to a problem with the delivery, but my reason for not giving 5 stars is due to the fact that some things we were not told until we had already ordered. some mealtimes came without like no wobble rings and when people asked about them, they said they had no left. the waitress was so nice and we felt bad on her and totally understood, but could it be worth putting it down just before the people order what is not available, so that people can have the choice to meal. Here’s a fair and honest assessment: The sign outside indicates that the pub is under new management. The atmosphere inside was inviting, just like the bar staff we encountered on Sunday. The presentation of the food was decent. The bark was pleasant, and the vegetables were good. However, the bratkartoffeln were a bit undercooked, and the engraving was thinner than I would have preferred. The Yorkshire puddings were enjoyable. As for the prices, they were reasonable, but I've had better meals for less money. I'll wait a few months before trying it again, but I do plan to return.

After an unsettled couple of years and constant management changes, we stopped going in, but decided to call over for a couple of pints last night as heard it was under new management. Felt very welcoming and had a brief chat with the new landlord who was very pleasant. We aren't ones for eating out but they were serving food and it looked very nice. Good to have a catchup with some of the locals.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was a great value for the price. The only downside was that many items on the menu were unavailable, but the staff were apologetic and accommodating about it. I would definitely come back! Réservez une table maintenant

This was our first visit since they changed the chef, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delightful, and we enjoyed every last bite. A big shout-out to the chef! We will definitely be back!

Visited twice recently. Was hoping to eat (1.30pm ish) but food only being served after 4pm despite lunchtime menu boards in carpark. 2nd visit was weekend and we managed to get a light bite.

Had a fabulous meal this afternoon the food was superb the service was helpful and attentive could not fault! Am so happy to have found this place to enjoy a meal in future xxx
