The Windmill - Réservation de table

I haven 't been to the Windmill for ages but thought I 'd try it again as was with a vegetarian friend and assumed the choice would be better than my local pub. Unfortunately, there were a couple of veggie dishes that weren 't available and the waitress wasn 't knowledgeable enough about the ones that were ie, what 'plants ' are in the plant based burgers, answer 'quinoa and spinach ' this wasn 't the case. The pub looked unloved and uncared for. No plants in the big planters outside, just cigarette butts and tables needing a good wash down. A plastic bag full of rubbish and other debris was in the car park when we arrived and was still there next day when we picked up my friends car at 1pm....

Nice ambiance; good friendly, attentive service, but first drinks took a while ,good menu choice too. Mini desert hot drink is a winner. Choice of 3 Alcohol free beers lagers is good, although the ale variant is one I'd give a miss next time

Lovely roast, I asked for extra gravy that was delicious. The meat (I had a trio of meats roast) was gorgeous, the Yorkshire was huge and yummy. Great service. Would highly recommend

that said that they didn't expect us, we had no dinner reservation, as they took part in an open table a few months ago. Réservez une table maintenant

Food was amazing and service was good. I asked for a quiet table and thats what we got. The Windmill never disappoints

Service was good, waitresses were very friendly. Try the plant-based vegan burger it was amazing!
