I've been a couple of years of history of the world. it was taken over by new owners. the owners of the day lead a beautiful, chilled relaxed pub. it has beautiful decorated interieur and a beautiful garden. eating is well cooked. in the night it is like another pub that renter in the night has no control, not that it should be necessary, but the customers who recently attracted it...it is more like a jugend club, with smoke bombs are let out, dancing on tables, with the renter, . . the client is on the hill, with most young people who act about 13. it is a real shame, as the renters spent much time building a good call, now because of the night shift it is like in the world or redlion, only...
we go in the rule for the quiz on a Tuesday / Wednesday with james with is in the rule super. the night of the Euro-Finales was terrible. I have never been so involuntary of the guy in the check-shirt (which I suspect is a owner / manager of. any type), the service was slow (yes I guess it was a busy night, but it got our drinks wrong more than twice). everything I could probably forgive, but the mentioned kerl asked us when we were about the payment of the bill. what we had done before, instead of checking behind the cash, we have asked ourselves rather rudely about our banking app. no apology was given after the proof of payment. rather poor service around, that is a scandal.
Whist visiting friends in Raunds. We called into The World Upside Down Free house. The place was well lit, very clean and warm. The landlord and landlady Steve and Trisha were very welcoming. There are a wide choice of draught beers and larger. The restaurant...menu was varied to suit all tastes. They also do a Sunday lunch menu and have their own pizza oven which is fired up regularly. Well worth a visit if in the area.
We popped in on our way back from Stanwick Lakes, the pub is beautiful, real wood fire, lovely welcome, friendly people, the food was amazing and reasonably priced, we are glad to have found you and will be back soon

Had a quick drink in here a couple of times and both times very pleasant. Staff welcoming and friendly. Food that we saw coming out looked very good to.
eating was very good and this guy seemed to do everything right, the two cooks that knock pizza on the show, was also a nice note, wants to come back!
I didn’t try the food, although it looked good! Not a bad place to go for a drink, people in the pub weren’t very welcoming but that’s Raunds for you!
Good range of drinks available at reasonable. Family friendly. Kids like the covered sitting area. Happy, informative staff.
