Whoa what a first experience to Martinique... after being seated and waiting 30 minutes with our drink menus I walked up to the front to get the dinner menus because the waiter seemed to have forgotten about us. We just wanted to be prepared for when he stopped by to take our order.. this guy literally takes the menus out of my hands and tells me he will be with me in 2 minutes. We should have left then but were so tired of traveling all day and just wanted to eat so we waited a few more minutes to get our order in. Long story short the food was bland and the waiter abandoned us pretty much the whole meal just a horrible experience all around.
The concept of The Yellow Restaurant is a live menu, a menu that changes according to fresh produce that’s available on the island of Martinique. The cuisine merges French classics with Caribbean products and flavors. As much as possible the restaurants use locally reared products, such as duck, beef, and fish. All the sauces and desserts are made in-house depending on the mood of the Chef. The restaurant offers a theme dinner every full moon. Make sure to check them out in this full mood and whenever you are in Martinique.
Recommande de réserver à l'avance ! Nous avons eu de la chance, mais pas un couple qui est arrivé après nous (il y a seulement 26 places). C'est délicieux. Cuisine française avec une touche caribéenne, réalisée avec des produits locaux. J'ai pris en entrée : crème brûlée de boudin noir. L'interprétation du chef était tout simplement étonnante. Les cocktails sont également savoureux. Le restaurant n'est pas situé au rez-de-chaussée, il faut monter quelques escaliers.
The decor is super nice, bright and yellow The soufflé was amazing, the fish soft and nicely seasoned. The day I was there the risotto looked more like a rice cake with the fish and sauce on top than what we in Italy call risotto, I don 't know if that is common here. I liked it though, just not was I was expecting. Recommended if you are in Fort de France for sure

A 5 stars as everything went super smooths during our dinner time last night. A real heaven Yellow space in the heart of Fort de France with intimate corners to enjoy your own time with a fast, attentive services and a great wines knowledge to pair with your selections and all at afforfable prices.
Cuisine incroyable. J'ai goûté le tartare de merlin et le Carengue. C'était excellent, il y a beaucoup de fierté dans la présentation et le goût est incroyable. Le personnel est sympathique et amusant aussi !
Dining experience at the yellow restaurant is adding a star to our journey in Martinique. The seafood risotto with the black or purple rice is delicious with each seafood nicely cooked.
J'ai dégusté de très bons plats et du vin ici. Le personnel était très poli. Fait intéressant, seules les marches sont jaunes, toutes les murs sont peints en rouge à l'intérieur.
