Marion I had a wonderful valentine’s meal on our first visit to The Yellow Broom at Twemlow Green. Just loved the continental decor team who were friendly professional. The menu was tasteful inviting. We felt the restaurant had been lovingly created in a way felt like someone’s proudly presented home, albeit on a large scale. We felt comfortable that was a big plus for anyone thinking the Yellow Broom is a bit ‘high brow’. The food was really great lovingly presented. I started with haggis Bon Bons Marion the pate with sourdough. We both had ribeye peppercorn sauce as a main the sauce was to die for. All of it was wonderful so tasty. The wine we chose was a King Rabbit Chardonnay that too wa...

We went for Sunday Lunch, the overall ambience is very good, service is good, however apart from the roast beef the main was dire, roast potatoes were not fresh but of the frozen variety along with the mixed vegetables, but the final nail in the coffin was the pre-made frozen Yorkshire which was still frozen on the inside, starter and dessert were okay but nothing special, will not be back for sure
This is a light and airy beautifully presented restaurant which clearly caters for the discerning diner. Innovative snd well prepared starters followed by lovingly cooked main courses. I opted for the pineapple and prawn cocktail to start followed by a rich lamb ragout so tender and succulent. That was Sunday lunch. Now I can’t wait to try their evening menu. A MYST visit. Family members in the local area highly recommended we eat here, it took a while but so glad we eventually got around to it. Stunning setting, impeccable, friendly service and gorgeous food. Wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks including some beautifully presented mocktails. Lovely decor, clean toilets, mature, well-kept gardens and car parking immediately outside. Will return. Quality food Excellent service We had a warm welcome when we arrived, we had the leek potato soup and black pudding, both very tasty, cod was perfectly cooked and flaked, sauce was excellent. Turkey was moist and tasty, followed by crème brûlée excellent and cheese both very good portions. So nice to be able to talk to each other across a table in a nice setting , thank you all
The food was amazing, the ambiance was delightful, and the service was excellent. This will now be our go-to spot for dining out. We tried the special holiday menu which includes 3 dishes for just under £30, and it was a great deal for the tasty meals prepared with care, expertise, and high-quality ingredients.
The food was okay but the portions were small and overpriced. We were seated at a table next to the toilets, which was not ideal. I have had better Sunday Roasts elsewhere. The staff were fairly friendly, but overall I wouldn't choose to dine here again.
Our Sunday lunch at this restaurant was fantastic. Despite staying in their rooms, they were able to accommodate us. It is a favorite spot among locals for good reason. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. Réservez une table maintenant
