In addition to their food, they offer a fantastic selection of packaged teas, coffees, soaps, and other health products for sale, along with their fresh spelt and sourdough breads. Despite it being busy on Friday afternoon during lunch, the wait was minimal. The service was outstanding—very friendly and accommodating. We felt genuinely welcomed. I ordered their carrot and ginger soup, which was thick and flavorful; just the thing to warm you up. It was accompanied by a slice of their homemade bread. I also picked up a generously sized date square to take home for a very reasonable price. While it was tasty, the base and topping that weren’t made with dates were a bit dry and could have ben...

A family friend took me here for lunch and i was surprised that such a place even existted ! With that being said, its a cozy little bakery with booths and a couple tables on one side and then a health food shop on the other side. Staff was friendly and helpful and service was very quick. I had a vanilla chai tea and it was very good. The veggie burger was equally as tasty. Only downfall was their 4 item menu. Not much to choose from and i think some people might not be able to make a choice as they may not like any of the menu items. I dont think a child would enjoy eating there, for example. But i underatand its just a small bakery type thing so they probably want to keep their menu small...

If you are a folk fester, you may recall that Common Sense had a food stall a couple years ago. They served a drink called, 'iced spice ' that I was tempted to buy every single day of the festival. Today I was able to re-live this drink. In the restaurant, they called it an iced vanilla chai yerba mate. Compared to other chai lattes that I 've tried, this was less sweet, but more complex in flavour (contained cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper etc. . I also ordered a Reuben sandwich, but the real star of the show was the drink. To top it off, their teas were available for purchase in-store! My friend and I both purchased the cardamon chai yerba mate to make our own iced spice at home!

I wanted to go to the Common Sense because I'm so curious that this group runs a store and deli. They have some literature/pamphlets at the front about their community or similar groups. Sometimes the service is odd or disjointed, with no sense of urgency, yet there are quite a few people working there just wandering around. The menu is small and limited, but I knew that going in. I tried the spinwich, which was wholesome and decently priced, and an iced chai yerba mate drink. The seating area is neat, with a wood lodge/cottage feel. Réservez une table maintenant

I stopped by looking for a light lunch to take out and asked one of the guys at the counter for a recommendation. He suggested a fresh salad, which sounded perfect, so I ordered that along with an iced tea. It turned out to be one of the best salads I've ever had—fresh, green, and crunchy, with dried raspberries and almonds. The dressing was simply amazing, and the iced tea was incredibly refreshing. It’s a unique mixed drink that only they seem to make. They also offer loose teas and freshly baked bread.

Now this is a very cool rustic place! Live edge tables, driftwood, leather decor. Its like eating in a Hobbitts house. We had lunch at this restaurant which is now called 'The Yellow Deli ' Its kind of a healthier option menu. Chips are actually potato chips and not fries! lol. My coworker discovered that but didnt seem to mind as the sandwich he ordered was fantastic according to him.The  service is warm and friendly and we will go back. Just had the lunch menu so I dont know what the dinner food is like.

My friends and I have made this place our new hang out spot for evening dessert. Their carrot cake is AMAZING, I literally get it every time I'm there. The servers are a little socially detached, but I think that just has to do with their culture and heritage. Highly recommend their lattes as well, delicious! If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing hang out, this is the place to be. They even give out the wifi password if you're wanting to study.

My co worker took me after work one day, and I had a fabulous time. The place is so beautifully set up!! With super great priced teas, natural medicines, to incenses. I felt like a valued guest from the moment I walked in the door. We sat to eat, and shared a sandwich and soup, both that were absolutely fabulous and cooked to perfection. I would recommend to anyone!! Réservez une table maintenant
