Saw the billboard off I-20 several times and decided to give this place a try. Purchased 2 meals (1 meat 2 sides), 2 drinks, and a desert and it was approximately $55 (I didn't receive a receipt). The food looked pretty good on the service line and there were so many options to choose from. I got the baked chicken (pictured) and it was D-R-Y! Probably the worst baked chicken I've ever had. I absolutely love collard greens (pictured) and they were full of stems. Now... if you love collard greens like I do, YOU KNOW the stems belong in the trash and not the pot. The person taking orders was friendly, but the staff member serving the food was not as pleasant. She seemed annoyed when I asked for a fresh batch of peach cobbler, as the one out was mostly juice and peaches. Instead of understanding my request for something better than scraps, she expressed her frustration, saying it was all the same.
As for the food handling, it could definitely use improvement. The rude staff member was casually grabbing muffins and tossing them into the pan without much care. The station could have been cleaned more frequently, and gloves should be changed regularly, especially after handling non-food items, to prevent the spread of germs.

I came across this restaurant while in the area, and it certainly did not disappoint. The meal was superb, earning a perfect 10. The service also received a 10, as did the atmosphere and food presentation. The price was a 9; it's good, but I believe it could be even better. I absolutely love this place! The food was delicious, and the ambiance really reflects the overall experience. The menu features a wide range of beautifully presented options to choose from. The servers are incredibly nice and work together seamlessly in the kitchen. With great food and a wonderful atmosphere, I will definitely be returning soon. I highly recommend this place!
First time visiting this restaurant after hearing it on TV for so many years. Have my graduation on that Saturday and decide I wanted some barbecue. Hanging out with my sister and my mother, we both dine in at that location. The meal was pretty generous. The green beans were flavorful, the broccoli casserole was savoring, the bread muffin was delectable, and the chicken itself was pretty sizable for the price of 13.99. Let's just say that only the bones remained.

It has been 9 years since the last time I have been to this restaurant and the food is still amazing. The only change I was not a fan of was the lack of actual plates, but I do understand so that will not be a disqualification from me. It's actually easier especially after COVID-19. I am happy that they are getting a bigger space as well! I can't wait!
This is a solid fast food soul food spot. It was quite busy when I visited. You can expect friendly service; the staff were just hard-working individuals preparing meals. If you're in the area, it’s worth a stop, but I wouldn't say it's a must-try restaurant in Atlanta. I heard it's part of a chain, so keep that in mind. Food: 3/5.
The food here is delicious BUT they really need to go back to the drawing board and think of a new banana pudding recipe because it is NASTY! I want to like it but something is missing… the food is so good here you would think the banana pudding would taste right but sadly it doesn’t. Please rethink the recipe!Food: 4/5
