For me, value for money, fresh delightful food and friendly owners makes this restaurant a regular favourite for us. The take away food is excellent!Not often does one owner prepare and cook the food and the other owner serve, wait and create a friendly place.We are fussy with our food and service and these people are brilliant. Their son comes to the restaurant and is already learning what he considers a work ethic early in life. Isnt that a change?
This restaurant is a hidden gem. We were welcomed by Wolfie, a six-year-old who took care of our drinks, order, and payment. He was a beautiful and professional young boy. The food was fresh, crisp, and had delicious hints of spices. The restaurant was clean and fresh, although it could use a bit more of a homey feel. Adding a few plants could help with that. We will definitely be returning.
I have just returned from Tong Bai Thai after ordering take away. The service is excellent! But, the food is even better! Try the fish cakes-different but brilliant taste. We've never had a bad meal and the prices are cheap for fresh home cooked Thai! If you haven't tried it, you don't know what you are missing.

Great service Beautiful food with more interesting fresh menu flavours than your usual Thai. We love excellent Asian food and love this place. Really great value as well and the staff are very friendly extremely accommodating. Wonderful little restaurant with a casual but stylish ambience.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, with a variety of vegetables and tender beef dishes that are not battered or fried. Giving it 5 stars is an understatement. While the restaurant is small with limited tables, we usually order takeout because the food is so delicious.
I love this place. I am very fussy with clean places to eat. The food is so light and so full of flavours, I never have a bad meal and I have been going there for a long time, Wolfie makes my night so smart entertaining. Well done to you 3 xx
