Thorold Fish And Chips

fish was overcooked (dark red/brown,) until the thinnest parts were chewing. the fish was also very fat, which is strange when I thought that the oil tempe was much too high, which causes an almost burned fish? also, they clearly steer them from the fried pickles. I have no idea what's going on with them, but it's the word that I would have chosen as a descriptor. had a bite, spit it out and threw the rest in the müll.

Ordered for takeout this evening and just got it back home to find they forgot the kids meal in our order, but we were charged for it. Also the coleslaw portion is tiny, and they also forgot the tartar sauce for one of our dinners. Just a big let down, not a good first impression.Edit- The fish batter is bland and very greasy, and the coleslaw is VERY acidic. Won’t be returning.

shawarma worst I had quite ahil. huh underboiled and cold, almost smeared day old. what I wanted was not in demand and got unwanted wobble, tomato and pickel. just any garlic sauce that was tasteless. will not come back!

Haddock serving was huge, tender and delicious. Batter was not too thick, which was good. Fries were frozen Cavendish (Costco food court style), which were good but I prefer fresh cut with fish and chips. Réservez une table maintenant

Was hungry as hell. Went straight in and ordered COD fish and chips. The best fish and chips I ever had, the quality and quantity were amazing. I will definitely reorder in future.

The service is quick. This family-run restaurant is very welcoming. The fish is consistently tasty and the serving of fries is generous!
