We visited Tide for dinner last night (Saturday), after having dined there for breakfast and lunch a few times before. We were celebrating a special occasion and decided to support local, rather than head to our tried and true favourites closer to the CBD. We were informed when we made our booking that Tide would be hosting a function on the night of our visit, which we didn't think would be an issue. Gorgeous spot. Love the Sunday arvos with live music till 6pm. The staff are super friendly and accommodate for allergies. Just went again for dinner and had the barramundi. Generous portion with pine nut, pumpkin and sun dried tomato salad. The skin of the fish wasn't crispy and I felt that the tomatoes were the only flavour I could taste because there were a lot of them. On the whole, the dinner menu is pretty sparse with only a few options. But I think with large list of tapas, I can see why. The alcohol list is pretty impressive. I wasn't disappointed with my experience at the restaurant by the jetty. The steak was perfectly cooked, the oysters were fresh and delicious, and the chocolate plate for two was outstanding. The location is unbeatable—you can see from the picture below that dining right on the water makes for a perfect Sunday. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing Sunday afternoon outing. Just a heads up about parking: it's best to arrive there on Sunday morning, as finding a parking spot can be challenging due to the markets.
was not here for a few years and I must say that I didn't like it as much as I remembered. I had the haloumi burger, who was stacked with hummus, so I took the tip of the burger to scrape it off. it was tasteless cold. the chips were ok, but also cold. my man, on the other hand, had the Wagyu-Rindburger he told me was delicious. he could be back but I will consider other options in. such a scandal because it is a beautiful place.

Beautiful setting , can NOT be closer to the water! We had Calamari and churico , nice and tender. Mussels , plump and delicious , good Vietnamese salad, excellent beer butter chips with a very nice aoili . The prawns in a butter sauce was not what I expected , however the prawns were a good size and tender. Will go back any time
the position is exceptional and it looks attractive, but eating is average and fat. the toilets are very hygienic and let you ask yourself if the same cleanliness is standard in the kitchen and rest of the restaurant. fortunate they are licensed and when they are drinking it will remain a beautiful view of the boats.
Fantastic location and has the potential to be great. Our Tapas was fast and tasty however the service was well below standard and bordering on rude and disinterested. No table service is a complete joke and does not actually save them any effort. I really hope this place gets better as manly really needs it
Rude staff, owner seemed disinterested in having a party of 30 to cater for. Waitress overheard making snide comments about customers. Unfortunately 1 is the lowest score available.

great local restaurant, casual eating on the water, wonderful view. they are busy, but make sure they book at the weekend for brunch. the mush are excellent!
fabulous position; friendly, competent and helpful staff; great value; pleasant eating; cozy and relaxed atmosphere. highly recommended. I often visit.
