My family has enjoyed dining here for years. We loved it as a dock-and-dine spot, and the sunset views were always beautiful. The food and drinks used to be great, and the service was decent. However, today we were shocked by the service we received. Our food was cold and messy, but what really disturbed us was the behavior of the staff. There was a man who seemed to be a manager who became extremely upset over a mistakenly delivered order. He lost his temper, swore, and slammed something in frustration just a few feet away from our 4-year-old grandson and our sleeping newborn. This place is a typical beach motel. The rooms are smaller and provide only the basics, but the view from the Tiki bar and its location directly across the street from the beach really makes up for it. We spent two nights here; on the second night, we attended a show at the PNC Arts Center, which was a smooth 25-minute drive away. However, I wasn't too pleased that they allowed non-guests to use the pool. One morning, while we were trying to relax and read by the pool, six kids jumped in! However, my room was missing an iron and ironing board, which I had to borrow from the front desk. Additionally, the ice machine was located behind the check-in office and wasn’t clearly marked, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Given the cost of the stay, I believe there should definitely be an ironing board in the room.
While I'd consider returning if the rates were lower, I didn’t feel that the quality matched the price I paid. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, but there is definitely room for improvement.
Love coming here. I am hooked on room 21. Love the view and the music at night. Rum Buckets are always great. Definitely will be back. The pool is well maintained and the staff are all great. I have been coming here for years. Recommend it for your getaway and only and hour from my home.

This place has ants all over the room i was staying in and there's was numerous different types of bugs. if you want to stay here don't stay on the bottom rooms!! they are disgusting. i told the guy at the front desk and he did say he will give us a refund.
Clean rooms. Nothing nice. New rooms available soon. The older section needs work for the amount of money it costs to stay there. Great location right opposite the beach. Area around the units could be cleaner.
Very nice room but was there for 2 days . Never told that they don't empty trash or straightened up bed or leave extra towels. Quite disappointing.
Have fun with a grass after party and breakfast the next morning. Beautiful location!
